The collar combines a full-grain buffalo leather outer with premium full-grain NDM soft cow leather on the inside. The softly padded lining and rounded, smoothly finished edges provide a more comfortable surface against the dog’s neck.
A quality solid-brass roller buckle and strong solid brass D-ring complete the collar. The D-ring is solid and not joined, providing a more substantial attachment point for the lead.

Why Choose Vegetable-Tanned Leather?
Vegetable tanning is a traditional process that uses natural tannins derived from plant materials to preserve and strengthen the hide. It takes considerably more time, skill and experience than many faster modern tanning methods.

How to Clean and Care for Your Leather Collar
Wipe away ordinary dirt with a soft, slightly damp cloth, then allow the collar to dry naturally at room temperature. Never soak the leather or place it on a radiator, near a fire or in direct heat, as rapid drying can cause natural leather to become hard or cracked.
For heavier dirt, use a small amount of cleaner made specifically for full-grain leather. Always test any product on a discreet area first. Once dry, apply a light layer of suitable leather conditioner occasionally to help maintain suppleness. Avoid excessive oils, harsh detergents, household cleaners and products containing bleach or alcohol.
If the collar becomes very wet, remove it from the dog, wipe away excess moisture and allow it to air-dry naturally. Polish the brass fittings carefully with a soft cloth, taking care not to transfer metal polish onto the surrounding leather.
How to Check the Size
Fasten your dog’s current collar at the hole normally used. Measure around the inside circumference of the fastened collar rather than measuring its complete end-to-end length. If the inner measurement is between approximately 16 and 19 inches, this collar should provide a suitable fit.
