How to Check the Size

Use an existing collar that fits your dog comfortably.

1. Fasten it at the hole your dog normally wears.

2. Remove it from your dog, keeping it fastened.

3. Run a flexible measuring tape around the inside of the closed collar, following the full inner circle.

4. Read the measurement where the tape meets its starting point.

If the inside circumference measures between 16 and 19 inches, this collar is within the stated fitting range.

Measure the inside circle—not the outside edge or the collar’s total length. Check the fit again on your dog when the new collar arrives; it should sit comfortably without being tight or loose enough to slip off.

Leather Feel & Care

Full-grain leather may feel firm or stiff at first. With regular wear, gentle flexing and contact with natural oils, it gradually becomes more supple while retaining its structure when properly cared for. Allow it to settle in naturally rather than trying to soften it quickly.

Wipe clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and leave to dry naturally away from radiators or direct heat. Avoid soaking, machine washing and scrubbing the beadwork. Do not apply saddle soap, leather cream or softening oils straight away—over-conditioning can make the leather overly soft, affect its shape or darken the finish. If conditioning is needed later, use a small amount of a suitable product, patch-test first and keep it away from the beads.
