Full-grain leather is the finest and strongest grade of leather available. The natural surface is left intact, preserving its strength, texture and individual markings. Rather than wearing out quickly, quality full-grain leather develops character and a beautiful patina with age.
Vegetable-tanned leather is produced using traditional plant-based tanning agents. This avoids the harsh chromium tanning process and creates strong, natural leather that is suitable for premium dog collars and leads. It also develops more character as it ages.
Drum dyeing allows the colour to penetrate deeply into the leather rather than simply coating its surface. This creates a richer, more even and longer-lasting colour while allowing the leather’s natural grain and texture to remain visible.
Buffalo leather is naturally strong, durable and full of character. Its distinctive grain makes every collar slightly different, while its strength makes it an excellent choice for premium Staffordshire Bull Terrier collars and leads designed for regular use.
