- Full-grain leather — our premium choice: Full-grain leather retains the natural outer surface rather than having it sanded away. This preserves its strong grain structure, distinctive texture and individual markings. Selected for its durability and ability to develop a beautiful patina, it brings lasting character to a handcrafted collar.

- Vegetable-tanned leather — time and craftsmanship: Tanned using plant-derived tannins, vegetable-tanned leather is valued for its firm structure, rich character and gradual softening with wear. Traditional vegetable tanning generally takes longer than chrome tanning, often adding production costs and requiring skilled control throughout the process. We choose it for the quality and finish it brings to our collars. Vegetable tanning alone does not guarantee that finished leather is non-toxic to dogs; dyes, finishes and product testing also matter.

- Buffalo leather — strength with natural character: Carefully selected full-grain buffalo leather offers a substantial feel, distinctive grain and excellent durability when properly made and cared for. It gradually becomes more supple through normal use, making it a fitting choice for our handcrafted collars and matching leads.
